Dwight Kennith McDaniel, age 68, of Clarksville, died Friday, December 13, 2013 at Gateway Medical Center.
He was born in Detroit, MI to the late Owen McDaniel and Erma Lewellen McDaniel. Dwight was also preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy McDaniel, and sister, Mary Virginia Krenshaw.
Dwight was a retired truck driver and a member at First Assembly of God. He is also a US Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam Conflict.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, December 16 at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Louie Montoya officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Dwight is survived by his wife, Mary Smithey McDaniel; four daughters, Debra Foust, of Lowell, IN, Tammie York, of Hendersonville, TN, Cindy Bergstrom, of Lowell, IN, Kim McDaniel, of Clarksville; three brothers, Dean, Russell, and Jerrell McDaniel; and two sisters, Nancy McCoy and Linda Goff.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
