Driver shoots at vehicle with mother, child inside

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville police are looking for the suspect in a vehicle shooting June 17 on Tiny Town Rd.

Witnesses told police a gold-colored vehicle, possibly a Hyundai or something similar, was driving erratically around 9:30 p.m. in the Fort Campbell Blvd./Tiny Town Rd. area.

When the vehicle neared 1000 Tiny Town Rd., the driver began shooting at another vehicle occupied by a mother and her small child in his car seat.

Police are unsure exactly how many shots were fired, but the vehicle was struck three times. No one was injured.

The victim’s vehicle came to rest on Tiny Town Rd. just before the Allen Rd. intersection, where she waited for officers to arrive while the gold vehicle drove away.

There is no known connection between the suspect and victim.
