CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The woman allegedly responsible for a major crash on Crossland Avenue near Talley Drive that injured three people has been charged with vehicular assault and DUI.
The crash occurred March 9 around 3:32 p.m.

According to an arrest warrant, a 1999 Crown Victoria driven by 35-year-old Ladonna Perrin was speeding and failed to stop at a red light on Richardson St. Perrin’s vehicle struck a Hyundai Tuscon in the driver’s side door.
The driver of the Hyundai and her 3-year-old son were transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center with major injuries. Perrin’s passenger suffered multiple lacerations and was transported to a medical facility. The victims’ conditions have not been released.
Officers at the scene said Perrin had a strong odor of alcohol and bloodshot eyes. Police said she admitted to drinking.
A bottle of whiskey, glass beer bottles, a bag of marijuana, and a grinder were found in Perrin’s vehicle.
Perrin has no driver’s license and has a prior conviction for driving without a license in 2008. She was found to be at fault in another crash in January of this year in Montgomery County.
Perrin was charged with vehicular assault, DUI, failure to obey traffic signal, open container, simple possession, no driver’s license, and no proof of insurance. Her bond was set at $87,000.
