Driver license checkpoints in Montgomery, Stewart counties

Troopers will target violators of driver license laws.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY – The Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct driver license roadside safety checkpoints during the week of Friday, June 6 on Highway 41A/North of Oak Plains Road, in Montgomery County, and on Highway 232 at Old Hwy 76, in Stewart County.

Troopers will concentrate their efforts on drivers who violate the driver license laws of Tennessee.

THP says driver license roadside safety checkpoints are an effective means of enforcing driver license laws of Tennessee while ensuring the protection of all motorists.
