SMYRNA, Tenn. – A woman charged in a hit and run that killed a 13-year-old boy in April has pleaded not guilty.

WKRN News 2 reports that 33-year-old Tina Wilson of Murfreesboro pleaded not guilty to one felony count each of vehicular homicide by intoxication, vehicular homicide by recklessness, reckless assault and leaving the scene of a fatal crash.

Wilson was driving under the influence when she lost control of her car and hit Clifton Braunwalder, who was changing a tire for his mother on I-24. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
