MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Clarksville mam was injured after crashing through a fence off Dover Road (Highway 79) Tuesday.

According to a report from Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), the 42-year-old man was driving northbound around 4:36 p.m. when he lost control of his car, crossed the median to the southbound lanes, and went off the road.

The driver crashed through a fence and into a tree before the vehicle finally stopped.

The man was transported to Vanderbilt with serious injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.

Is is unclear why the man lost control of his vehicle. No one else was involved in the crash.
