CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A drive-by shooting occurred at a residence on Senseney Circle on the night of Thanksgiving that may have been the result of an argument between four teenagers at Governor’s Square Mall.
According to a police report, officers were called to the home around 11:16 p.m. for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, a juvenile girl was seen exiting another home and screaming that she was “gonna go fight her for this.”
The juvenile told the officers that she and another juvenile girl were at the mall that evening when two female suspects began yelling gang slurs at them. The victim said the suspects belong to a gang known as ‘Loud Ink’.
The girls told police they left the mall and went straight home where they unloaded their vehicle and went into a bedroom. About five minutes later they heard 6-7 gunshots followed by squealing tires and they hid on the bedroom floor.
Four casings were found in the street, two bullet holes were found near the bedroom window, and one bullet hole was found in the door of a vehicle parked in the driveway.
The victim’s father, who was at home during the incident, said he didn’t hear the shots because he was sleeping.
Another witness told police she was in her driveway when she saw a four-door sedan drive slowly down the street and heard gunshots shortly afterwards.
About half an hour later police were called to another report of shots fired where they made contact with the two 19-year-old female suspects as well as some other associates.
The victims were unable to identify the shooters and the cases found in the street were sent to a lab for investigation.
No further information was provided.
