Doy T. Summers, age 71, of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2022 at Tristar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, TN
Doy was born March 10, 1951 to the late Edward Franklin Summers and Ernestine Mullins Summers of Stewart Co., TN. Doy is also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Stewart Summers; brother, Jimmy Summers
He is survived by his Life Partner of 25 years, Edith Moody; daughters, Janie (Matthew) Jackson, Stacy (Robert) Menees, and Ashley (Chris) Locke; son, Shon Moody (Briana); brother Donnie (Gina) Summers; brother in law Randy Stewart; Eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Friends and family are all welcome to attend.
Doy was a lifelong Christian who loved his family, Corvettes, and the great outdoors. He was a Class A tool and die maker at North Tennessee Tool & Die for 20 years, he then went on to retire from Trane in Clarksville, TN.
