CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Clarksville’s Downtown Market will return on May 15 with over 100 vendors, according to an announcement by Parks & Recreation.

The Market is a weekly open-air market featuring farmers and artisans who offer locally grown fresh produce, food items and handcrafted products. It is is open every Saturday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. May 15 through October 2 at Public Square.

A post on the Parks and Recreation Facebook page promises over over 100 vendors with an assortment of fresh produce and handmade goods for opening day.

“Like many of you, I’m happy that the Downtown Market is ready to open,” Mayor Joe Pitts said. “It’s a sure sign that summer fun and fresh produce are here again, and it’s a great downtown anchor where people will be gathering to experience all our growth and excitement.”

New to the market this year will be an expanded Kids Zone every other Saturday beginning May 15. The free Kids Zone will be at the Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St. Different activities will be hosted every other Saturday thanks to partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
