MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TN (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Downtown Commons will be hosting a nostalgic trip back to the 1950s at the Downtown Commons Sock Hop.
The sock hop will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Downtown Commons as a way to celebrate Daylight Savings Time.
Twist the night away in your best 50s attire at this free event. Shake, rattle and roll to classic 1950’s music from the “Good Rockin’ Tonight” rock n’ roll band.
Weather permitting, classic 1950’s cars provided by the Memory Lane Cruisers will be on display. There will be food vendors and beer for sale.
The Downtown Commons is still looking for unique vintage experiences to feature at the Sock Hop! Vendors with products that fit with the 1950’s era are welcome. Owners of 1950s cars are also invited to participate. For more information, email info@downtowncommons.org to reserve a spot.
