CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Produced by The Downtown Clarksville Association, First Thursday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour spanning a 5-block radius that combines visual art, live music, engaging events and more in the heart of Downtown Clarksville.

With 10+ venues, bars and businesses participating each month, the First Thursday Art Walk in Clarksville is the ultimate opportunity to savor and support local creative talent.

The December Art Walk will be held December 6th from 5-8 p.m. at the shops and galleries on Public Square, Franklin Street, and Strawberry Alley.

Downtown Artists Co-op (96 Franklin Street)
ARTIST INFORMATION:
The Downtown Artist Co-op presents the Annual Holiday Bazaar, an exhibit of inexpensive, small, original works of art by local artists perfect for Christmas gifts. You can find everything from small paintings, hand-made Christmas cards, leatherworks, jewelry, pottery, and more.

The Opening Reception is on Thursday, December 6, from 5 to 8 pm.

The Bazaar will be open to patrons from December 6 – Dec 24.

The Framemaker (705 North Second Street)

The Framemaker proudly presents photography by artist Dan Alsobrooks. An opening reception will be held from 5-8 p.m. The exhibit will remain on display at the Framemaker throughout the month of December during normal business hours (Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

The Roxy Regional Theatre – Peg Harvill Gallery (100 Franklin Street)
ARTIST INFORMATION:
The Roxy Regional Theatre is proud to host local photographer, Lucas Ryan Chambers, in the Peg Harvill Gallery during the month of November.

Santa will even be there for the opening from 5:30 to 7:30 taking photos and handing out treats to all of the kids that come visit.

The exhibit will run the entire month of December, but don’t miss your chance to see Santa on the opening night which runs from 5-8 p.m. during the Art Walk.

The United Way is proud to host a Recipe Sampling Preview, which will feature samplings from the “Uncanned” Cookbook, a project by Lead United Students to provide healthful recipes to those receiving food boxes from Manna Cafe.
