Updated with new information on the parking garage.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Two years after DoubleTree by Hilton was announced for downtown Clarksville, the 156-room full-service hotel officially opened to the public today.

The plans to bring the new hotel to Clarksville were first announced back in 2022, when BNA Associates, based in Nashville, signed a franchise agreement with Hilton to open a DoubleTree as part of its Riverview Square project, according to previous reports.

However, Oliver Hospitality acquired the DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview property and now serves as the partner with Hilton.

“We are proud of our inaugural partnership with Hilton and the collaborative effort to open what is sure to be the preferred place to gather downtown for food, drink, entertainment and a home away from home,” said Chett Abramson, president of Oliver Hospitality, in a news release. “The dynamic hotel and its restaurant will be the heartbeat of the Riverview Square development and set the bar for hospitality in the region. We look forward to embracing our guests and new neighbors like family.”

Restaurant and ballroom

The hotel’s restaurant, Harvest Kitchen + Spirits, offers “a fresh update to middle Tennessee cuisine with a touch of Appalachian flavor,” according to the release. The 110-seat restaurant will feature traditional regional and classic American dishes.

DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview includes a 4,000-square-foot grand ballroom on the lower lobby, meeting and event space for groups of up to 250 and a ground-floor ballroom with an outdoor terrace. The first event in the new Cypress Ballroom will be the Roxy Regional Theatre Gala 42 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the hotel’s amenities include a lobby bar, 24-hour fitness facility and a grab-n-go market. The hotel also provides a view that overlooks the Cumberland River.

The nearby 511-space parking garage for the F&M Bank Arena is expected to open by fall 2025, according to EDC spokesperson Michelle Hueffmeier. The planned Riverview Square can’t start construction until that parking garage opens, so it can absorb hotel parking.
