CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A double wide trailer caught fire Wednesday afternoon on Dotsonville Road, leaving a family of three displaced in Montgomery County.

Montgomery County firefighters responded to a call Wednesday around 11:00 a.m. near the intersection of Dotsonville and Wooten Road. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Animal Control, Fort Campbell Fire Department and the American Red Cross were also at the the seen.

Three individuals were home at the time of the fire, one adult and two children, according to Montgomery County Fire Chief and EMA Director Ed Baggett. All three families members were able to make it out of the home unharmed.

The trailer was a total loss, according Baggett. Montgomery County Fire is still investigating as to the cause of the fire.
