CLARKSVILLLE, Tenn.– Double Bogey Charitable Golf Club’s President Henry Parham presented LEAP Executive Director, Richard Garrett with a donation check of one thousand dollars on Dec. 16.

The generous contribution was a result of the Double Bogey Charitable Golf Club’s using their mistakes to benefit others.

“For each double bogey a member gets they have to pay twenty-five cents for any score that is over fifty cents. The community has greatly benefited from our fun-filled golf sessions,” says Parham.

Double Bogey Charitable Golf Club is thrilled to be able to make this donation. They are a 501(c) (3) charitable organization established in January of 2016, to raise funds for other non-profit organizations in the Montgomery County local community.

“I have a deep appreciation for this golf club and what they stand for” shared Garrett. “LEAP was founded based on mistakes that I made and God used them to enable us to benefit the youth in our community.”

Montgomery County Commissioner Monroe Gildersleeve encourages others to join the organization to support non- profit organizations in the county. Whether experienced or beginner, each member enjoys the fellowship as the members in the club alternate playing on different golf courses throughout Middle Tennessee each Thursday.
