Dorothy Nell McDaniel Blanton, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at her home.
Dorothy was born in Clarksville, TN, to the late Lester Spencer McDaniel and Mary Adkins McDaniel. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert McDaniel.
Dorothy worked at McClellan’s for 20 years and more recently at the Acme Boot Company. She was a member at First United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Lori Hynson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Fisher of Clarksville; one brother, Spencer McDaniel of Clarksville; and one grandson, Colin (Amy Schulz) Fisher of New York, NY.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
