Dorothea E. Hayhurst, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015, at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Dorothea was born in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Emanuel Economos and Andromeda Economos. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hayhurst; brother, James Economos; and one sister, Pauline Shields.
Dorothea was a bookkeeper with the Barnes Foundation and was of the Greek Orthodox faith.
No services are planned, and her remains are to be cremated.
Dorothea is survived by her daughter, Pamela Jamie (Steve) Elston of Clarksville; sister, Helene Krauss, of Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Shelby and Samantha Elston; two nieces, Paula Shields and Dee Dee Armstrong; and nephew, Richard Shields.
