Doris passed away on April 29, 2019.
A graveside service for Doris Darnell, 90, will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM. She was born in Clarksville, November 4, 1928 to Joe Oscar Welker and May Ellen Dennis Welker.
Doris attended Western Kentucky University. She retired from Bell South/AT&T.
Doris was a long-time member of Charlotte Heights Church of Christ. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hugh Darnell; daughter, Kay Darnell Mangrum; sister, Eleanor Booth; and brother, Paul Welker.
She is survived by daughter, Donna Darnell of Nashville; sister, Margaret Ann Marshall of Clarksville; granddaughters, Kendall Dickens of Goodlettsville, Ellie Mangrum of Nashville; grandson Lee Mangrum of Nashville; great granddaughter Ava Dickens and great grandson Grady Gipson and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
