Doris Ann Rittenberry, age 83 of Chapmansboro, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at her residence.
She was born on September 13, 1937 in Madisonville, Ky. to the late Leonard Thompson Sisk and Madalyn Rodgers Sisk.
Doris enjoyed genealogy, her flowers and finding a special antique.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Billy Ray Rittenberry; son, Thomas William Diggs; daughters, Sabrina (Mike) Greenfield and Gina (Brian) Sargous; grandchildren, Clay (Tandra) Greenfield, Matt (Ashley) Diggs, Ben Diggs and Hayley Sargous and great-grandchildren, Nash Greenfield, Crew Greenfield and Avery Diggs.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Melissa Abbott and Sara Meek. Also, the staff of Asceracare Hospice, Tabitha, April and Betty.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 29 at 11 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Reverend Harriet Bryan and SueAnn Norris officiating. Burial followed at Bethel Cemetery in Sango, and visitation was held on Tuesday, June 29.
