Donny Morris Motes, Sr., 60, passed away on October 2, 2022 at his residence. Donny was born on February 18, 1962 in New Albany, MS to Belvin Eugene and Ruby Jewel Lewis Motes.
In addition to his parents, Donny is preceded in death by his grandchildren; Kirsten, Kurstin, and Peyton Baker. He is survived by his children: Nacole (Jeff) Coppock, Charles Baker, DJ (Dawn) Motes, Jr., Apryl Baker, Trish Morgan, and Paige (Chance) Carey; siblings: Dwanda Pearson, Tammy Dillard, and Earl Wayne Lewis, Jr.; 25 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; life-long friend, Sherrie Motes; and many nieces and nephews.
Donny was an avid fisher and enjoyed being in nature. Wood working was one of his passions. Donny’s family would often call him a Little Debbie fiend.
