Donald Miller Pearsall, Sr. devoted husband of 65 years and loving father of three sons died peacefully at his home Saturday, August 17, 2013. Don was born in 1927 and grew up in Guthrie, Kentucky and Clarksville, Tennessee.
He was a cheerleader in High school and a very outgoing and friendly fellow. He attended Vanderbilt University and University of the Ozarks and became a registered pharmacist. He enjoyed a life-long career with the pharmaceutical firm of Eli Lilly, especially the personal relations and interaction of business life.
Don was a gentleman with a ready smile, a winning personality and a lovely Southern accent. He was very detailed oriented and was always coming up with ideas and thinking of key components of any project that were not to be overlooked.
His memory lives on with his wife Barbara, son Don Jr. and daughter-in-law Toni of Corrales, New Mexico, son Frank of Bloomington, Indiana, son Ted and daughter-in-law Gillian of Austin, Texas, and three grandchildren, Rusty, Hillary and Sloan, as well as the many people he met and worked with.
Graveside service will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers any remembrances go to the Guthrie Christian Church, Post Office Box 38, Guthrie, Kentucky 42234, Don’s boyhood church home.
