Donald Frank Ott, age 83, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Centennial Medical Center.
Donald was born December 2, 1932, in Davenport, IA, to the late Frank William Ott and Dora Waetke Ott. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Hogue Ott; and two sons, Donald Frank Ott, Jr. and Michael Ott.
Mr. Ott was a US Army veterans, having served in Korea. He was a tool and die maker for Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, IL.
Celebration of Life will be held Monday, December 5, at 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Richard Wesley and Rev. Betty Meriwether officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be Monday, December 5, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Donald is survived by his wife, Alice Marie Smith Ott; three sons, Eddie Ott of Clarksville, Steven (Diane) Ott of Dixon, IL, and Daren Ott of Ft. Wayne, IN; two daughters, Brenda Bumpus of Clarksville and Karen Hayes of Durand, IL; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 2201 Old Russellville Pike, Clarksville, TN 37040.
