Dr. Donald “Don” Dean Luck, 65, of Adams, TN, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Don was born on June 2, 1951, in Waverly, IA to the late Ralph Luck and Dorothy Magnuson Luck.
Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Madison Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Cliff Wright, Jr. and Rev. Laurie Hynson officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home and Saturday, June 25, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. There will also be a visitation on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly, IA, with a Celebration of Life Service to be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Horton Cemetery in Horton, IA.
Don was a Professor of Education at Austin Peay State University. He was a member of Madison Street United Methodist Church.
Don is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Luck; two brothers, Ron (Mattie) Luck and Larry (Beverly) Luck; and sister, Janice (Ray) Becthold.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be APSU College of Education and New Beginnings SS Class.
