CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Students from Norman Smith Elementary School who ordered from Domino’s on Wednesday, September 5 received a special surprise: pizza made by their very own Principal Emily Clark.
Clark, along with Assistant Principal Tearza Baggett, made pizzas from 5-7 p.m. at Domino’s, 1206 State Highway 48, as part of a special spirit night for Norman Smith Elementary.
Domino’s held a “dough raiser” for the school on Wednesday and Thursday, donating 20 percent of all sales from orders received at that time.
“When Mrs. Clark proposed this dough raiser idea, we hopped right on it!” said Antonio Murgas, Clarksville Domino’s franchise owner. “It’s not often that kids can order pizza from their principal!”
Clark and Baggett both said they would definitely do another dough raiser and make pizzas again.
“We had so much fun making pizzas for our students,” said Clark. “I’m amazed at how much teamwork it takes to run a Domino’s store. It’s much like a school, it reminded me of how important our teachers are to our kids and community.”
