Dr. Dominic F. Minadeo U.S. Army Major (R), age 79, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Ronny Raines officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Nick entered into this life on December 10, 1944, in Cleveland, OH to the late Joseph and Angela (Semeraro) Minadeo. During his tenure in the military, Nick served his country valiantly three tours in Vietnam, rising to the rank of Major before transitioning into academia where he shared his knowledge and wisdom with students at Troy University.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Minadeo; daughters, Angela Jarrett and Nikki Swaw.
His impact extended beyond his professional life into his role as a loving family man. Dominic is survived by his beloved wife, Diana Birx Minadeo. He also leaves behind sons-in-law Jason “Tamara” Swaw and Shane Jarrett, as well as grandchildren Averie Minadeo and Abigal Jarrett.
