CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The annual Doctor Who/Steampunk Convention in Clarksville is coming up this weekend.
The convention will be at the Riverview Inn located at 50 College St., and will take place on Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday panels include a Q&A with the guest of honor, Eric Roberts, who appeared in the 1996 Doctor Who television film, a Doctor Who trivia panel, and the d’s and don’ts of cosplay, as well as a Doctor Who and steampunk costume contest. For Sunday, panels included are a Doctor Who Q&A, and an author roundtable on what it’s like to write for a living.
Tickets will be on sale at the door the days of the event. Admission for Saturday is $20, while admission for Sunday is $10. If you plan on going both days, you can pay $25 for a two-day pass.
