CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – In recent weeks, citizens, business owners and city officials have debated the proposed location for a homeless outreach center in downtown Clarksville.
The plan is for the city to purchase The Well at 224 Union St. It will be used as emergency weather shelter, operated by Clarksville Urban Ministries. The plan is also for laundry facilities, showers and ADA-accessible bathrooms, while also expanding services already offered, including meals and community support.
