CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – If you lost your home or have other needs resulting from the tornado that hit Clarksville on Saturday afternoon, there are several businesses, nonprofits and agencies offering assistance. Shelters

Showers, more
- City Recreation Centers: All three City of Clarksville recreation centers are open, and hot showers are available free of charge. The recreation centers also serve as indoor facilities for children to be active while out of school. Burt-Cobb (1011 Franklin St) and Crow (211 Richview Road) are open 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sundays. Kleeman (166 Cunningham Lane) is open 7:45 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, and closed on Sundays.
- Spring Creek Baptist Church, 2760 Trenton Road, is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Showers are open and available. Breakfast and lunch will be served each day. Pets not permitted.
- Living Hope, Tyler Town, 1200 Winterset Drive, is distributing clothes, baby items, blankets, tarps, canned foods and water from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. They have a laundry unit and a shower station, 931-201-9702.
- Crunch Fitness Clarksville, 1596 Fort Campbell Blvd., has opened its doors to serve as a warming center and shelter, with hot showers, charging stations and more.
- Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, 2650 Trenton Road, is offering showers, laundry and respite from noon to 6 p.m.
- Real Life Fort Campbell, 199 Jack Miller Blvd., will have a shower trailer with six showers and laundry machines.
Food
- Park Lane Church of the Nazarene, 225 Cunningham Lane. Lunches with food trucks start at 11 a.m. and dinners at 5 p.m.
- Mosaic Church, 1020 Garrettsburg Road, will host Mercy Chefs, a Virginia nonprofit that serves hot, chef-prepared meals in times of disaster.
- Manna Cafe will be offering a hot meal every evening until further notice. Meals will at 5:30 p.m. at the Manna refuge center, 503 D Street.
- Copper Ridge Townhouse Complex is offering free food and supplies at 1605 Needmore Road #504.
- Thirsty Goat offering free meals for the rest of the year to those affected by the tornado.
Holiday help
Holiday of Hope 23: Grandmama’s House of Tiny Town (Child Care), Child Care Resource and Referral, Hiller Heating & Cooling, and Sigma Chi Eta Xi Fraternity held a toy drive for children who were victims of the tornado. Toys will be distributed Thursday, Dec. 21, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Grandmama’s House, 2015 Tiny Town Road. Santa and Ms. Claus will be there, as well as the Grinch.

- Clarksville Area Urban Ministries Grace Assistance Program located at 217 S. Third St. is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-noon with food, clothing and hygiene items. 931-648-9090.
- Mosaic Church, 1020 Garrettsburg Road, has been collecting donations and has resources available for those who may be in need.
- Acme Athletics, 2231 Madison St., has a free distribution room set up with all the donations received for tornado relief. The available items are located next to Miss Lucille’s. There are items such as diapers, formula, clothing, coats, food, cases of water, baby toys, pack and plays, shoes and much more. Pick up times are Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Academy Sports and Outdoors, 130 South Hampton Place, has pallets of water on site. In addition, the store is stocked up on propane, batteries and other disaster relief essentials.
- Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing, 2650 Trenton Road, has Blessing Buckets available, carefully curated to provide essential items. Come pick one up or call 931-647-6339.
Damage claims assistance

- Allstate’s Mobile Claims Center has been set up at Home Depot, 2630 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Customers can stop in to speak with an adjuster and file a claim
Housing
- Millan Enterprises has numerous homes in Clarksville that are immediately available for occupancy for those displaced by the tornado. Millan is offering the first month of rent free, plus application fee and security deposit assistance, short-term lease options, covering the cost of utilities for the initial week, and offering one month of free storage. - U-Haul is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box container usage to victims of the tornadoes at these locations: 712 Providence Blvd. (931) 647-8028; 2830 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. (931) 648-0500; 8475 Pembroke Oak Grove Road, (270) 605-5172.
- Stor-Alot Self Storage is offering units at all locations at no charge including administrative fees until Feb. 1 to anyone affected by the tornado. This is only for new move ins, in situations where people need somewhere to store their belongings from the storm. Sign up online and click “Tornado relief.”

Animal help
If you find a stray dog or cat, please bring them to the Montgomery County Animal Control shelter during business hours. If after hours and you are able to hold until we open, please fill out a lost/found report at www.mcgtn.org/animal-control. Stray intake photos are posted on the MCACC Facebook page. We recommend owners to check in-person and have staff walk you through the stray hold areas.
- Animal Guest House, 1970 Chester Harris Rd., is offering free boarding for displaced animals.
- Mikaela’s Mutt Motel, 788 Gardendale Lane, has a lost and found pet list compiled to help reunite families. The non-profit organization also have a chip scanner if an animal is found.
- Pet Studio, 1960 Madison St., is collecting an amazon wish list and will also serve as a distribution site for those in need.
