CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Discover Life Church is working to change the lives of children with a Christmas tree sale. Beginning Nov. 27, you can purchase a fresh Fraser Fir or Balsam Fir at Discover Life, and all of the proceeds will go to help children globally and in our own community through YAIPaks Outreach.
“Through a direct partnership with People for Care and Learning and Serving Orphans Worldwide, your tree purchase provides education, care, mentoring, food and housing,” organizers said in a news release. “We support children’s homes, learning centers, schools, families and feeding programs across the world and right in our own community. We want to inspire hope and empower potential in the next generation.”
Their goal is to raise $20,000 and split that 50/50 between YAIPaks Outreach and Missionary Isaac Lutz with People for Care and Learning.
To purchase a tree, go to Discover Life Church, 1970 Memorial Drive, starting the day after Thanksgiving.
