DICKSON, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Dickson, Tenn is holding its eighth annual Where’s Waldo Local Scavenger Hunt, offering children a chance to explore their community and win prizes.

The annual Where’s Waldo Scavenger Hunt is held by independent bookstores around the country, encouraging people to get out and support local businesses. Cardboard cutouts of the iconic character are hidden around town for kids to find, photograph and collect.

Reading Rock Books has been scavenger hunt headquarters in Dickson for eight years. They have hidden 23 Waldos around town, including one somewhere in their own shop. Anyone that collects them all will win a prize and coupon to the store.

The event will conclude on Friday, August 9 with a Grand Waldo Celebration at Holland Park as part of Dickson’s Music in the Park. Reading Rock Books will hold a prize drawing for those that found all 23 Waldos. They will also have a Waldo themed photo booth. Music in the Park begins at 6 p.m.
