DICKSON, Tenn. (AP) — A grand jury has indicted a Middle Tennessee man on murder charges in the deaths of two people whose bodies were found in a fire last month.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says the Dickson County grand jury indicted 37-year-old Kenneth Ray Niles of Dickson on charges of first-degree murder, felony murder, arson, robbery, burglary and theft.
He is charged in the deaths of 27-year-old John “Chris” Goldtrap and 23-year-old Lisa Wade Mackenzie McDonald. The TBI says preliminary autopsy results indicate both were shot in the head.
Goldtrap’s and McDonald’s bodies were found April 14 in a duplex fire in Dickson.
The TBI said the grand jury also charged 44-year-old Jamey Earl Donegan and 30-year-old Joshua Michael Pickering with fabricating evidence in the case.
