CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – On Thursday, Oct. 10 at 11:00 a.m. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Clarksville will be open for business. The first 50 dine-in customers will receive a gift card loaded with up to $50 to Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. The nation’s largest barbecue chain is throwing a three-day party to celebrate this new location.

“We are so proud to bring slow smoked authentic Texas Barbecue to Tennessee,” said Roland Dickey, Jr. President and CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “We look forward to continued expansion in this great state.”

On Friday, Dickey’s Barbecue will be serving $2 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches from 11:00 to 1 p.m and one lucky winner will receive a $500 gift card to Dickey’s Barbecue. Radio station 100.3 FM will also be on site. The party continues Saturday with a day full of merchandise giveaways.

“Dickey’s will be a great addition to the Clarksville community,” said local franchise owner Mark Deering. “This is a very social community where people eat out a lot. Our plan is to open five in in the next few years.”

Mark and Lorrie Deering and Co-owner Marcia Winn, are originally from Clarksville. The three met about 20 years ago at a T-ball game and have been great friends ever since. Marsha was a former advertising executive.
