Dewey Spencer Gant III, age 63, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Dewey entered this life on March 19, 1959, in Charlotte, NC to Dewey S. Gant, Jr. and the late Harriet Henderson Gant. He was a retired Deputy Sheriff from the Mecklenburg County, North Carolina office and a Veteran of The United States Air Force. In his spare time, Dewey enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Kathy Gant; sons, Spencer (Kiesha) Gant, and Josh Gant; daughter, Mickie Gant; grandchildren, Ember, Karson, Ayden, Cloe, and Michaela; siblings, Hank Gant, Brenda Helms, and Julie Cooper.
