A Celebration of Life service for Denise S. Thompson, age 56, of Clarksville, TN, will be Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Denise was born on December 13, 1965, in Albany, GA. She passed away on November 10, 2022. Denise was a 1984 graduate of Lee County High School and was employed with Clarksville Montgomery County School System from 2003-2017. She had a green thumb, enjoyed collecting Longaberger baskets and Rae Dunn pottery, and loved the beach and mountains. Her greatest joys were her cat, Kitty and her family. She particularly adored her grandchildren and the time she spent with them.
Denise was preceded in death by her mother, Sara Tabb. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Allan Thompson; daughters, Stephanie (Damon) Prince and Lindsey (Matthew) Jacobs; stepsons, Richard Thompson and William (Breanna) Thompson; siblings, Jerrianne (Jerry) Taaffe and Eric (Wendy) Sheffield; and grandchildren: Jase, Kynsleigh, Everly, and Rhett.
