Defective cans prompt Bush’s Baked Beans recall

Bush’s Baked Beans is recalling three varieties of its canned baked beans due to a problem with the cans.

Over the weekend the company announced the voluntary recall of three flavors of baked beans – original, brown sugar hickory flavor, and country style – all sold in 28-ounce cans.

The company said the cans have potentially defective side seams.

No illnesses have been reported, but the company is urging consumers to throw the products away.
