David Charles Aikens, age 79 of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 in his sleep at Brigadier General Wendell H. Gilbert Tennessee State Veterans Home.
He entered this life on April 17, 1942 in Weymouth, Mass. to the late Clarence and Edith Aikens. David was a resident of Clarksville, Tenn. since 1986 and was lovingly known as “Pops” to many. He was also a veteran of The United States Army.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Survivors include his sons, John J. Minon (Marsha) and Aaron D. Minon; daughter, Christina L. Meadows and grandsons, Jacob L. Minon, Dalton P. Minon, Michael P. Meadows and Matthew D. Meadows.
