David Lee Burkhart, 82, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2022, at McReynolds- Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Tay Joslin officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the hour of the service on Sunday.
David was born on February 4, 1940, son of the late Chandler and Mary Burkhart. David was an avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed barbequing, wine making, and cheering on the UK Basketball team. He spent over 30 years farming soybeans and tobacco. David was a retired Youth Correction Officer from the State of TN.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include his children, Kathryn (Ken) Kopp, Bradley (Stephine) Burkhart, and Bryan Burkhart, grandchildren, Kasey, Kaitlin, Christopher, Matthew, Sean, Meagan and Trent.
