Darrell Wayne Rager age 71, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville. He was born in Todd County, KY on March 17, 1950, the son of the late Oscar Rager and Rushia Lear Rager.
Darrell worked for 41 years with Trane Corporation in Clarksville as a forklift driver. He is a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. Darrell was known for his sense of humor. He was a good cook and everyone enjoyed his chocolate pies.
He is survived by his daughter Tina Rager Oates of Bowling Green, KY, and his son Justin Rager of Clarksville. Also, surviving are sisters Patsy Rager Wallace of Clarksville and Barbara Rager Davis of Colorado.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Carolyn Rager Latham and a brother Larry Rager. Memorial services for Darrell will be conducted on Friday, August 20, 2021, at 6 p.m. at Gateway Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Osborn officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services on Friday.
