Danny Thomas Snorton, age 67, of Clarksville, TN departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday, January 1, 2024. He was born in Clarksville, TN to the late Roy James Snorton and Clady Keesee Snorton. Danny accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was saved at a very early age. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. Danny was involved with the young adult choir for many years. He loved going to Sunday School and reading his Bible.
Danny was educated in the Montgomery County School System. He attended Cobb Elementary School, Burt High School, and later Clarksville High School, where he graduated from. He attended Austin Peay State University for two years and later joined the US Army, where he proudly served his country for 6 years before he was honorably discharged.
Danny was truly a tall and good man. He had a lovable and kind spirit. He loved to joke around with his friends, play cards, drink his favorite drinks, and watch TV. He especially enjoyed watching his favorite football team, The Pittsburgh Steelers, and WWE Wrestling. Danny was a people person and could tell a great story about his life. He will be dearly missed.
He leaves to cherish precious memories to his children, Christopher Gray Snorton and Alicia Foster; siblings, Barbara (Frank Adams Sr.) Snorden, Ronnie James (Wanda) Snorden, and Kenny Snorton; his favorite nieces, Charlene Quarles and Chilita Jeffrey; nephew, Chris Terry; his aunt, Berline White; his special lady friend, Antoronetta Buck and a host of loving grandchildren, cousins, friends, and other relatives.
Memorial sevices will be held at Gateway Funeral Home on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. with visitation at 12:00 P.M. until the time of the service.
