Daniel Lee Joiner, of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away January 24, 2024, at 81 years old.

In his wonderful life, Dan (Danny) was honored to serve as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and head of the finance committee at New Providence Baptist Church and then First Baptist Clarksville. He met his wife, played baseball and graduated from Clarksville High School in 1961 then worked attended and graduated from Austin Peay State University with a double major in Accounting and History in 1965. He worked in finance at The Trane Company from 1965-2007.

In addition to his deep love for God and his family, Dan loved baseball, classic cars, 50s music, the outdoors, Tennessee football and banana splits. He was happiest when he could capture special moments with his family on camera and enjoyed spending time in nature climbing on the Tennessee hills and wading in creeks. Dan was very quick-witted and funny, leaving everyone he ever met with a smile.

Dan was preceded in death by his father Carra Greenwell Joiner, mother Virginia Sanderson Joiner, and brother Benson Joiner.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sharon Pelren Joiner, his son Steven Joiner, daughter Shelley Joiner Brown and son-in-law Randy Brown, grandsons Logan and Luke Joiner and granddaughters Danlee and Lexi Brown.

The family will receive friends Saturday March 2, 2024, from 2:00-3:30 pm with a celebration service following at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with pastor Bill Graham officiating.
