DICKSON, Tenn. – Dal-Tile, the largest manufacturer and marketer of ceramic tile and natural stone products in North America, will host an information fair for interested job seekers on Tuesday, April 21, at The Renaissance Center of Freed-Hardeman University, at 855 Highway 46 South in Dickson.
Dal-Tile will hire approximately 180 new employees for its new state-of-the-art tile manufacturing plant and distribution center currently under construction in Dickson. The plant will be the Dallas-based company’s 11th manufacturing facility in North America. Dal-Tile’s Dickson facility is scheduled to open later this year and will begin full-scale production of tile in early 2016.
The April 21 information fair will share detailed information about Dal-Tile, the plant and distribution center, jobs and more. Six one-hour sessions will be offered, at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Advance registration is required to participate; to register to attend a single session, visit www.workforceessentials.com/event/. Additionally, the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development’s mobile Career Coach unit will be on-site at the April 21 event to assist job seekers. The Career Coach offers free usage of computers, copiers and fax machines. The computers aboard the Career Coach have internet access and are equipped with Microsoft Office software.
