CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville’s Customs House Museum and Cultural Center recently opened its newest exhibit, “Start Your Engines! A Celebration of Racing in Montgomery County.”

The gallery has been in production for 18 months and highlights the cars, memorabilia and lore from early days of local dirt track and drag strip racing right up to the present.

“This exhibit is creating a lot of buzz with car and racing enthusiasts of all ages,” said Frank Lott, executive director of the museum. “We assembled a team of local supporters dubbed the ‘Pit Crew’, each with solid experience or knowledge of racing here in Clarksville and Montgomery County.”

The exhibit was debuted to the public on Aug. 7 and will run until the end of the year. For more information, please visit the museum’s website.
