CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Laying Low is back for its sixth installment to benefit the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center on Saturday, October 8.

This laid-back annual fundraiser begins at 5:00 p.m. with festivities lasting into the evening. This fun fall evening features beer, games, and live music in a festival atmosphere. This year’s event takes place at Daffodil Hill, 2100 Madison Street.

Grab some delicious BBQ grub from John’s Chicken & Ribs. Tap your toes and get dancing to jazzy live music by The Nightmasters. New to Laying Low this year is the Cornhole Tournament. Attendees can sign up at the door to test their gaming skills. Each team registers for $25 with two people per team. The winners will receive a prize.

Laying Low is one of four annual fundraisers that supports programming and exhibits at the museum. Enjoy this opportunity to share the fun with fellow supporters of the Customs House Museum & Cultural Center while helping us further our mission.

Located at the corner of Second and Commerce Streets, the Customs House Museum is the 2nd largest general museum in Tennessee. Regular museum hours are 10 am to 5 pm Tuesday through Saturday, and 1 to 5 pm on Sundays. Adult admission is $7, Sr. Citizens and College ID $5, Ages 6 to 18 $3, and under six and Museum Members are free.
