CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center will host a free “History on the Rocks” listen-and-learn happy hour on Thursday, Dec. 11, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Beachaven Downtown, located at 101 Franklin St., Clarksville.

The event celebrates the release of the Winter issue of Second & Commerce Magazine and invites the community to engage with local stories, creators, and culture.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet featured writers and artists from the current issue, participate in a round of trivia, and hear firsthand perspectives from the voices highlighted in the magazine. This issue explores stories about Maria Jimenez, Wilma Rudolph, Clarksville Foundry, Caney Hummon, and more.

Confirmed participants include Cindy Podurgal Chambers, Maria Jimenez and Caney Hummon, with additional contributors to be announced.

The event is free and open to the public. Beachaven Downtown will offer a limited menu available for purchase and custom drinks inspired by the stories in Second & Commerce Magazine Volume 5, Issue 1, such as Forge and Fire Mulled Wine, The Lillian Frosted Cranberry, and Thread of Life Wine Flight.
