TriStar Health, one of Tennessee’s top healthcare providers, has announced plans to build a new hospital in Clarksville. And next week, the state will be considering their application for a Certificate of Need to make it happen.

Today, former state Rep. Curtis Johnson and former Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett discuss Clarksville’s growth, the location of the proposed TriStar Clarksville Hospital on Tiny Town Road, and the change in the state’s Certificate of Need law.

The hearing date for TriStar’s Certificate of Need before the Tennessee Health Facilities Commission will be July 23 in Nashville. Ahead of that, you can have your say and provide valuable input to the commission.
