Curtis F. Wilson, Jr., age 79, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 in Nashville, Tenn.
Before locating to Clarksville last year, he was a resident of both Kansas City, Mo. and Overland Park, Kans. for many years. Curtis started his career as an electronics teacher at Argentine High School and later entered the business world, where he retired from Farmland Industries.
Many interests kept him busy: family, executive coaching, woodworking, analyzing handwriting, working on model trains, participating in the Toastmasters organization and being a great cook.
He leaves behind his wife, Patricia K. Smith; son, Owen Wilson (Jennifer); sister, Carol Donarski (Tom); grandsons, Christopher (Kayla) and Michael; two great-grandsons, six stepchildren and their spouses, 12 step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Sr. and Galdys Wilson, and sister, Betty Dod.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Tay Joslin officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Wilson, Michael Wilson, Owen Wilson, Ty Calderwood, Todd Calderwood and Troy Calderwood.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
