CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Cumberland Arts Centre Dinner Theatre’s production of “Eb Scrooge: A Southern Fried Carol” opens Dec. 6 and 7 with additional performances on Dec. 13 and 14.

If you love the classic Charles Dickens tale of “A Christmas Carol”, you’ll get a kick out of this production which is loosely based on that old chestnut.

When the troop of actors, who have come to perform the classic tale, are overcome by the taste of our southern sweet tea, a collection of local Clarksvillians decide to take over and tell the tale with a southern flair.

Reservations must be made in advance by calling CAC at (931) 552-1106. Dinner includes your choice of traditional turkey and dressing or cherry glazed ham with all the trimmings. Cost is $30 plus tax and includes dinner and show. Doors open at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 and the show starts when everyone is finished eating.

According to the director, Art Conn, “Make your reservations now, since our Christmas shows usually sell out quickly and I know you won’t want to miss seeing some of your favorite local talent as well as some newcomers to the CAC stage.”
