CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Clarksville Transit System (CTS) is helping voters to cast their ballots on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.
All bus routes will operate fare-free from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. on Tuesday. If your polling place is located on one of the transit system’s many bus routes throughout Clarksville, you can get a free ride to cast your ballot for the candidate of your choice.
Along with a free ride to vote, CTS is offering free rides for everyone in the community to wherever you want to go in the city on Election Day.
“In order to ensure that everyone is able to get out and exercise their right to vote, we have decided to operate fare free across the entire system. This is something we have done successfully for many years,” said CTS Director Paul Nelson.
