Update, 9:22 p.m.: Dive teams suspended their operations for the evening and are scheduled to resume their efforts at 8:30 on Monday morning. Personnel with Clarksville Fire Rescue will continue to conduct recovery operations for a little whole longer this evening, according to CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien.

Billy Dunlop Park, Robert Clark Park, and the Blueway will remain closed for the time being.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Emergency crews are trying to find a 12-year-old boy who went missing while in the creek at Billy Dunlop Park.

At about 1:45 p.m., Clarksville Police, Clarksville Fire Rescue and Montgomery County EMS began water rescue operations at Billy Dunlop, according to a news release. A father reported that his 12-year-old son was missing and was last seen Big West Fork Creek.

As a precaution, Billy Dunlop Park, Robert Clark Park, and the Blueway are closed until further notice.
