CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – On Sept. 24, Clarksville Police Department’s (CPD) Clergy Rapid Mobilization Team (CRMT) met at the New Providence Community Policing Center (NPCPC) for a community outreach mission.

According to CPD’s Chaplain Modesto Martinez, the outreach mission was accomplished successfully. As all of the ministers went out into the community, they did it on a float with the Frozen characters—Anna, Elsa, and Olaf (the snowman).

“The event was awesome! The community was very appreciative of what we were doing. Some people were crying, others thanked us for bringing joy to the community. They were coming out of their homes to follow us. It was hard for them to believe what was going on,” Chaplain Martinez said.

“We had Elsa, Anna, and the snowman on a float with music. People were stopping their cars to take pictures. Each member of the CRMT had the opportunity to interact with the community, passing out flyers from the community policing center and giving out stuffed animals.”

We are very proud of what our Chaplains and the ministers of the CRMT are out doing for our community.
