CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville residents will have the chance to properly dispose of their old or unwanted prescription pills during the “Pill Burn Day” being conducted by the Police Department Saturday, 27 July from 8 a.m. until noon at 1584 Vista Lane.

The “Pill Burn” will be for prescription pills only, including loose pills, pills in bottles, or pills in punch-out foil containers.

No liquids, tubing, syringes, biological waste etc. will be taken. CPD is asking citizens to remove all names, address, etc. from the pill bottles prior to bringing them to the location.

Pill bottles will be thrown away and not incinerated.

The incinerator will be located in the parking lot on the right side of the building by the large bay door.
